A painful learning experience – To Hong Kong and back! And no more…

China Coast Regatta

The time came and went for the leg to prove it was well enough to race so it was decided to postpone returning until the important Vietnam Race. It was very hard to come down to the dock every day to see them casting off and heading to the race course without me. Never mind, there will always be more races and besides, they smashed 2nd straight off the bat! Results here.

Vietnam Race

Post CCR there was a few days to get everything in place for the 670nm race to Vietnam. Notorious for being rather blowy and seriously good fun (a down wind sled ride). It was also one that dad had some unfinished business with after sinking 2 years ago with Wala Wala 2.

Of course, this trip has taught me loads but the story won’t be over for a while… Still need to work out whats happening next with the knee issue!

We'd love to hear from you!
